Biological Rose Care.

Roses have been crowned the Queen of all the flowers and are synonymous with romance the world over. Roses have a bad reputation as difficult plants to grow and look after; however, this could not be further from the truth. With a little extra care and love, roses can be rewarding and bring you endless joy.

 

There are several varieties of Roses to choose from that are perfectly suited for all level of gardener: from containers to borders to Rose beds. 

Rose Varieties:

Climber or Rambling.

The perfect rose to finish off a garden room or full sun patio. They create long stems that need to be supported by a trellis or trained on pergolas. Climbing and Rambling Roses flower repeatedly. 

Rose Care:

Hybrid Tea.

These are the most popular roses available. With their large well-shaped blooms and strong stems, they are perfect for cut flowers. Hybrid Teas branch from the base and grow between 90cm to 2,5m tall.

Floribunda.

This variety gives you continuous, free-flowering clusters of blooms.

Miniature.

These little ones offer an abundance of blooms and are available in a wide range of colours. They are perfect for container gardening and as edging plants.

Pest Control:

In Spring and Summer, Roses are more susceptible to bugs and fungi. Use the EcoBuz Biological, safe and residue-free range of Pesticides.

 

Apply PEST PRO at first sight of Red Spider Mite and other insect pests weekly until the population is managed. 

Apply DISEASE PRO preventatively as a foliar spray to protect against powdery and downy mildew. You can mix DISEASEPRO in with your MULTI GRO foliar spray.

Apply LARVAE PRO as soon as Caterpillars/Larvae are noticed, continue weekly until the population is under control.
